ClaimClaw provides insurance claim documentation review and related services. This policy explains what information we collect when you contact us or purchase a review, how we use it, and the choices you have. ClaimClaw is operated from Wareham, Massachusetts.
Information we collect
- Information you provide: your name, email or phone number, the claim details you enter in the intake form (claim type, state, status, offer amount, and your written description), and any files you choose to attach.
- Payment information: when you purchase a review, payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We receive a confirmation of payment, the amount, the tier purchased, and the email associated with the payment.
- Basic technical data: standard request information (such as IP address and browser type) handled by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, for security and reliability.
How we use your information
- To prepare and deliver the claim review you requested.
- To contact you about your review or respond to your inquiry.
- To process payment and keep a record of the transaction.
- To protect the service against fraud and abuse.
What we ask you NOT to send
Please keep your first intake high-level. Do not submit Social Security numbers, full policy numbers, medical records, or other highly sensitive documents through the intake form. If sensitive materials are needed for a deeper review, we will arrange a more deliberate, secure way to handle them.
How your information is shared
We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers needed to operate ClaimClaw — Stripe (payment), Cloudflare (hosting and delivery), and the messaging tools we use to receive intake notifications. We may disclose information if required by law.
Data retention
We keep claim intake and transaction records for as long as needed to deliver the service and meet ordinary business and recordkeeping needs. You may request deletion of your information at any time (see Contact below); some records may be retained where required for legal or accounting reasons.
Your choices
You can request a copy of the information you submitted, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
